Finding your iRobot model number

Buying by model name alone is the most common way people end up with a part that does not fit — manufacturers reuse names across quite different machines. The model number is the reliable identifier:

• Upright and canister machines: on the rating label underneath the body or on the back, near the power rating.
• Cordless sticks: on the label behind or beneath the dust bin, often visible once the bin is released.
• Robot vacuums: on the underside, next to the wheels.
• If the label has rubbed off, the number is also printed in the manual and on the original box.
